What is Video Judge?
Video Judge uses a state of the art video and audio system to provide the ultimate educational tool for dancers. With Video Judge you receive your adjudications on a single DVD with multiple audio tracks and a powerful menu system so you can listen to the judges’ comments while viewing the actual performance.
What kind of Workshops do you have?
Our workshops are now separate from the festival. Visit the Shine Dance Workshops website for information on upcoming workshops in your area.
How do you select your adjudicators?
Our panel of adjudicators is carefully selected based on experience and professional recommendation. All Shine adjudicators have experience working with children and are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and expertise. Every effort is made to avoid possible conflicts of interest and to ensure unbiased results.
What about photos and videos of dancers’ performances?
Shine is pleased to have professional photographers and videographers onsite capturing every performance. You can purchase videos and photos on our website through The Gallery.
So is it a festival or a competition?
Both! We provide the challenge and excitement of competition and the community atmosphere of a festival together so you get the best of each.
